OBJECTIVES

The bachelor of Management Information Systems aims to achieve the following educational objectives:

  • To supply students with the required knowledge and concepts of management information systems (MIS).
  • To prepare students to apply their knowledge in the field of work using problem solving tools and techniques.
  • To supply students with the required qualifications and skills for work in the field of information in profit and non-profit commercial organizations, research organizations and governmental organizations.
  • To prepare students for work in the following MIS sectors:
    • MIS specialist.
    • Data Base Administrator.
    • MIS developer.
    • Systems analyst and designer.
  • To prepare students for lifelong learning through giving them the knowledge and skills required for scientific research, decision-making and problem solving which encourages personal growth and continuous development.
  • To prepare students for postgraduate studies in one of the recognized universities.
