Overview of PSCJ
In the past six years Prince Sultan College for Tourism and Business (PSCJ) has emerged as
a private non-profit College that is linked to the Al Faisal University which belongs to the
King Faisal Foundation. The college is under the Deanship of Professor Yasin Jefri.
The vision of the college is “To maintain our image as one of the leading
educational colleges in tourism, hospitality and business management programs”.
The mission of the college is to “Advance the standards of business practices and strengthen
the service of the tourism and hospitality industry by training Saudi and non-Saudi youths who
want to make a distinguished career in the field; to upgrade the development of human resources
in business and the tourism sector and to spread valuable, practical skills to students and enable
them to maintain high levels of proficiency in their respective fields of qualification”.
The core values of Prince Sultan College are based upon the following:
- Developing a culture by placing people first;
- Excellence in research and scholarship;
- Excellence in teaching and learning;
- Responsive and flexible delivery of teaching and learning; and
- Transformation.
The objectives of Prince Sultan College include:
- Upgrading the tourism and hospitality industry of Saudi Arabia;
- Educating the society of the complexity of tourism and the important benefits to the local host community.
- Showcasing the economic impacts of tourism development for Saudi Arabia;
- Prepare the Future Leaders of the tourism industry;
- Assist young Saudi’s to find placement within the tourism industry; and
- Assisting to nationalise employment within the tourism industry.
