ABOUT
Due to the rapid changes and emerged needs of the Saudi society, the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has been a key tool to solve and hinder many evolving challenges. The Department of Information Technologies (DepIT) at the PSCJ will carry the responsibility to offer ICT oriented academic degrees at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and ICT-oriented research, training and consultation projects to enable the wide range of skills in the field of information technologies as needed by the different disciplines within the Saudi marketplace. The DepIT at PSCJ will enable the ICT professions needed by the Saudi marketplaces through applied and student-centered teaching and conducting research the fundamental foundations and latest knowledge, and through the Informatics Team for Research, Consultation and Training (ITRCT) (visit: ITRCT Web Page ). The Informatics Team for RCT aims at developing practical competencies and skills in the areas of information technology management, information systems, information security, business informatics, medical Informatics, health informatics, biomedical informatics, health information systems, to name few.

The Department of Information Technologies is to become a recognized national and international ICT Education, Training, Research and Consultation provider.

Research and Training
