Course Description

This course is design for people working in, or preparing to work in a wide variety of business sectors related to hotel, hospitality, leisure, and tourism and care occupations. People not currently employed but seeking employment will also find the program of value, as the program will address housekeeping basic concepts which do not require any industry background. The program is most suitable for people wishing to broaden their range of skills in providing services to guests and clients.

Purpose and Rationale of the Qualification

The course aims to impart skills and knowledge on the hotel and accommodation services sector, particularly in the area of accommodation services, such as servicing guestrooms, linen administration, guest supplies and up-keep of public areas. Participants will also be equipped with skills in providing excellent customer service so that they can deliver with a winning edge. The course brings together skills necessary for providing professional accommodation services in all sectors, small, medium and large-scale hotels including guest houses and holiday apartments.
