The content, structures and the outcome of the programmes are based upon skills development and training. The focus of the programmes are to develop the skills of prospective tourism, hospitality and business managers to successfully manage any field of the industry set within any type of environment. A combination of knowledge and skills application is the main mode of facilitation to empower the prospective candidate to make a meaningful contribution to the tourism, hospitality and business industry and community at large. To facilitate these knowledge domains and skills application an empowering teaching and learning environment has been created that sustains facilitation, research, practical experience and active engagement with the industry and community at large.

Career options and job opportunities

Positions can be sought in the private and public sector such as accommodation (hotels), resorts, hospitals, banks, catering suppliers, food suppliers, Hajj and Umrah establishments, museums and historical sites, travel agencies, tour operators, event establishments and educational and training institutions.

Enrollment requirements

  • High school or equivalent;
  • Interview with PSCJ; and
  • English language test.

Required documentation

  • Original and a copy of the high school certificate;
  • Original and a copy of the commendation letter;
  • Six color photographs of the applicant;
  • Copy of citizenship card, or the family card or the iqama (please note that the original is required for authentication)
