a magnetic hand compass , topographic maps and global positioning systems (GPS).
Student will also examine modern and traditional methods that have a minimum impact

details the safe, efficient and ethical practices required in a guided a desert
setting for the establishment and management of a camp. The course highlights the
importance of effective sanitation, maintenance of water quality and impact on terrain.
