ABOUT
This Department's Tourism curriculum comprises tourism management, tourism information systems and
reservation system training.
The department specializes in teaching tourist transportation management and tourist destinations development;
the practices of Hajj and Umrah management; organizing tours and conventions;tourism planning and
other tourist activities.
The programme leads to a Bachelor’s Degree in Travel and Tourism Management & Hospitality Management.
The Hospitality Management curriculum comprises Hotel and Restaurant Management courses such as :
- Introduction to the Hotel and Restaurant Industry
- Food & Beverage Department
- Operations and Management
- Rooms Division Management
- Hotel Marketing
- Hotel Accounting
- Food Production, the Art of Service
- Hotel Planning and Designing
- Practical Training (in and out of the kingdom).
